    Ryan Larson

    Co-Founder

    Ryan is an accomplished and creative mechanical engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit. He has a diverse engineering background working 20+ years in design, manufacturing, and project management with aerospace, defense, and commercial product design applications including turbo-machinery, aviation crash seating, consumer electronics, and even sports equipment. He is passionate about innovation and enjoys finding new and better ways to overcome challenges.

    He is excited about the performance benefits of the Molecular Fan technology, the journey ahead to introduce it to the marketplace, and the incredible value he knows it will bring towards the challenges of thermal management in aerospace applications and beyond.

        Dr. Shu Ching Quek

        Advisor

        Dr. Shu Ching Quek is a technologist in the renewable energy and aerospace industries for 21 years. His experience included heading multi-million-dollar programs and technical leadership for 8 years at GE, 1 year as a research associate professor at Tufts University and, 2½ years at Ming Yang Wind Power Group (MYwind) as VP of Engineering for MYwind–China and President of MYwind–USA. In addition, Dr. Quek has also held R&D roles for photonics involving the use nanostructures, active flow control, active seals and thermionic energy recovery. While at GE, Dr. Quek received several management awards for his innovative contributions to the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) program to achieve one of the world’s best performing cell. He lead the team to develop the world’s largest carbon based jointed aeroelastic blade at GE. In addition, he delivered the Ming Yang Wind Power’s first DNV/GL certification. More recently he has also consulted with one of the world largest concentrated solar power projects (1GW plant) with Glasspoint and significantly increasing their manufacturing yield and product operational life. Currently Shu Ching is the CEO/Founder of Novuswave specializing in clean energy systems. He has received his Aerospace PhD from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He currently holds over 20 patents in the areas of wind turbine blade, tower fabrication, inspection technologies, ceramic matrix composites, sodium batteries and fuel cells.

            Matthew Kuhns

            Advisor

            Matthew is a lead R&D engineer for Vertical takeoff / Vertical landing rocket development with experience in ground fueling, manufacturing, and product development. His current activities include working to bring new technologies to this industry and creating the next generation of aircraft refueling equipment; he has 3 provisional patent applications in progress. Matt has experience in metallurgy, additive manufacturing, materials and casting through work on Jet Engines and a tooling company he co-founded. Rapid-D uses additive manufacturing to create precision aerospace injection molding dies and fixtures for single crystal turbine blades. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in Engineering Mechanics.

                Todd Doering

                Advisor

                Mr. Doering has 9 years of experience in refining, oil and gas production operations, upstream completion fluid treatment, terminal loading/unloading design, ethanol production, polyethylene manufacturing, amine regenerating units, gas to liquids technology, cooling water and chiller systems, polysilicon manufacturing, coal processing, system analysis and troubleshooting, system debottlenecking, PSV scenario development and sizing, hydraulic and fluid flow analysis, and flare systems analysis. His experience includes the full development and detailed design for new process installations; safety systems, including flare system analysis and design; upstream oil and gas waste facility design; polyethylene manufacturing; amine regeneration; sulfur recovery; ethanol production facilities; process hazard analysis (PHA) facilitation and resolution development, including HAZOP/LOPA facilitation; heat exchanger, pump, vessel, distillation, plus various other equipment designs starting at the conceptual stage including feasibility studies and economic analysis all the way to the construction phase. Mr. Doering received his B.S. in chemical engineering at Washington State University.

                    Frank Oliver

                    Advisor

                    Frank is a physicist cross trained in both electrical and mechanical engineering with broad business experience in a wide range of technology. As a technology executive, with many years of industry experience in various executive roles including Chief Engineer, CTO and CEO, Frank has been involved with both commercial and government technology programs and start-up planning and execution. Notable industry activities include: Principle Investigator on SBIR Programs in Smart Grid, Systems Health, and Software Based Decision Support for systems engineering; Product and service development leading to corporate diversification and growth; Engineering and Research Engineer for Laser Systems; Energetic Materials; and Titanium processing through the DARPA Titanium Program.

                    Frank represents ATV as an entrepreneur in residence at The Oregon Health & Science University. He has also served as a participant in advisory boards for the University of Arizona, including; Joint Ground Robotics Enterprise (JGRE), strategic planning for US Navy adoption of Alternative Energy Systems; and for development of UAS Standards with the RTCA, an advisory organization for the FAA. In the aerospace industry, Frank is familiar with DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254 qualification standards for aircraft systems and equipment and ISO and AS9100 quality systems.

                        Winson Li

                        Business Development

                        Winson Li is a former Private Equity Analyst with experience in valuation analysis, in-depth market research and company due diligence. Prior to joining ATV, Winson was a consultant for business development, marketing and third party negotiation strategies for start-ups and mature businesses in technology and e-Commerce. Winson holds an Honours in Business Administrative Studies, specialized in Finance, from York University.

                            Corey Park

                            Advisor

                            Mr. Park is a Certified Hedge Fund Professional (CHP), with additional (CHP) certifications at the highest level in Portfolio Analytics and Risk Management. He attended the Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business (Leadership and Management) and has served in executive leadership positions for over 24 years. As an experienced serial entrepreneur, Mr. Park has founded and built many companies over the years and has experience taking private companies public. He brings value to companies by identifying and utilizing leverage, building momentum in their marketplace and positioning the entities to maximize strategic resource and capital channels within the private and public markets.

                            Mr. Park has closed several multimillion-dollar lines of credit from hedge funds, as well as negotiated and completed many strategic partnerships, acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution, licensed and sponsored research agreements.
